About a foot of new snow on base of sugar snow.

Skier triggered slide. 30meters wide, 1 ft crown, ran for about 100-150 meters. Carried skier for about 10 yards before he was was able to right himself and ski out of slide. Relatively small slide of new snow only and could have been high consequence if near or above a terrain trap. Seemed to have slid on problem layer (sun baked sugar snow) where new snow is not bonding well. Also observed a smaller natural slide on similar aspect and slope angle.
