Weather

Westerly winds were gusting strong at times but were mostly light to moderate. Mega storm bursts snowing maybe S5, otherwise snowfall was lighter at S1-S2 range. Lots of new Graupel.

Snowpack

Didn’t travel on anything much over 30 degrees today so no sings of instability. Storm snow for the weekend was about 35cm in Red Coon Glade. There was a 1cm crust within the storm snow from yesterday, distributed only in the lower portion of the glade. Hand pits showed good bonding between the storm snow and the old (1/27th) interface but produced failures on non persistent grains just above that interface.
