On the Pat Sheehan traverse March 20-21. 5-10cms of low density snow fell on the night of the 20th at Castleguard meadows and was redistributed by light downflow winds. New wind slab was soft and not reactive skiing down to the Saskatchewan glacier. Sun crust exists on solar aspects under the new snow. Good coverage on the glaciers with 180cms average on the sakatchewan glacier and 290cms on the hanging icefields at the start of the traverse. No me avalanches observed but visibility was generally poor.
