Hiked to the top of the old peak one lift line going out of Frisco en route to summit/ski peak one today.
At the top a skiing partner moved across the face to lookers right and triggered several large fractures. Nothing slid but it definitely fractured in a large circular pattern with other fractures off the main circle.
We decided to call it a day and descended down lookers left. The snow had a light smaller faceted layer and then a large(2" or more) crust and large, faceted crystals underneath.
