Temps in the 20's most of the day, intermittent snow/graupel showers during the tour. Light winds from the west most of the day with some moderate gusts. Stayed around 9300-9600ft
Snowpack
Snow height 55-70cm on SE facing slopes with melt freeze crusts spread evenly thru the snowpack and facets between each crust. Northerly slopes were unconsolidated facets but proved decent skiing on lower angle terrain. No collapsing was noticed on any of the tour routes. Test pits on SE slopes showed the following test results; CTM12 down 10cm failed below a melt freeze crust. Other pit with CTM12 up 20cm from ground also on melt freeze crust (HSN 67cm). ECTX
