Weather

Low 30s, moderate SW winds, consistent high clouds. No recent precip. Little snow transport, as most snow in that direction was crust.

Snowpack

Mid-winter snowpack persists on N slopes 20 degrees or steeper above 9,000 ft.Thursday's 21 cm still F- with good bonding to 30 cm of 4F below. Other aspects a mix of crusts directly bonded to old bomber base to breakable crust with facets above old crust, to 10 cm corned crust with isothermic facets as far as the eye could see below. N-facing cornice cuts produced very little sluffing even on 40 degree slopes at 10,200 - 10,400'. we did observe some wet snowball sluffs below cliff bands facing WNW, but no other avalanche activity.
