Snow Hangovers!

Today we travelled east of Sparwood, The day was mostly cloudy, but temperatures warmed to +6 at treeline and the sun peaked out creating a moist surface on a meltfreeze crust. There was evidence of loose wet avalanches occurring in the past 24 hours and a natural cornice triggered size 1.5 in steep terrain.
