Mellow solo trip up to Chester Lake. ~15cm new overnight at the lake (freezing levels below parking lot elevation, no signs of melt or rain anywhere on the 742 south end) Witnessed a class 3 in the large south most couloir lookers left of saddle, full run out onto lake. Appeared to originate above, or at top of couloir, couldn't see due to low cloud deck.
