Alpine sledding conditions.

Alpine temps stayed below freezing into the late afternoon (-1c). We had unlimited visibility and light winds from the north. Down in the trees, the freezing level hovered around 1000m. Surfaces were firm and supportive in the alpine making for easy travel. There’s evidence of widespread natural activity from the weekend, but we saw no new avalanche activity today. As the afternoon went on we payed close attention to temps, solar input and overhead hazard.
