Crusty all the way up

Thick crust layer (roughly 2-5cm of crust) at all elevations and all aspects. Between 0 and 15cm of snow on top of the crust. Much of the terrain has 0 new snow on top of the crust, as most of the snow in the alpine has been wind affected. noticed cracking in wind affected terrain, at all slope angles and all aspects. Probed between 250 and 265cm total depth depending on location.
