Witnessed a slide off Mt. Fairview dust the back of the lake and the inlet area around 5:15pm. Large powder cloud, would estimate slide size between 1.5-2. Poor light prevented being able to clearly see the start zone. Winds at the lake surface were light, but spindrifting off the cliffs likely means wind trigger in the alpine was the cause.
