The snow was heavily wind affected in most of the alpine with pocket of wind deposited power to be found on leeward slopes. No rocks were hit by our party but there are definitely rocks near surface which were hit with our poles while skinning. One size 1.5 to 2 avalanche which was a few days old was observed a few hundred meters up slope of the skin track in the first slide path.
