Mini Mongolia Mission

Pretty simple day getting out to stretch the legs and have the first foray into Mongolia for the season. Conditions were pretty much as forecasted - anywhere between 15 and 25cms on top of the early December crust. Thinner snow on top of the crust on the more East facing slopes. On the steeper tree covered slopes fast running dry slough was keeping up with us. Some signs of snow having moved off of the head walls / The Mammoth but nothing big or recent. Saw a bunch of people out and tracks in most of the usual spots, no signs of anything in the bigger avalanche tracks.
