Relatively good bonding through upper snowpack. Thick 2.5 cm crust 90cms down consistent with other observations. Test compressions 30cms above this crust resulted in very easy failure.

Avalanche triggered from below while traversing smaller slope. Mostly wind transport soft snow. Variable depth from 10cm - 30cm. Low energy and slow moving. Retreated from slope and sought out other aspects
