Nice day out at Cornice Ridge. Dug a pit at 2000m NE aspect, 250 HS. SH found 33 cm down and a crust 40 cm down, CTM 12 RP. Top storm layer was soft and not consolidated enough to react as a slab. Expecting that to change over the coming days so still stayed away from steep slopes.
