We saw evidence of a widespread avalanche cycle mostly on north and west slopes from the weekend storm. Some slabs stepped down to deeper buried layers, almost to ground. The storm left about 30-40cm of new snow in the area which was quite dense and moist with the warming this afternoon. This new snow sits on top of the old rain-soaked "isothermal" wet snow. This made for tricky riding conditions anywhere off of packed trails as the sled would bog down easily and stepping off the trail resulted in your feet sinking all the way to ground. The warming today also triggered loose wet avalanches on sunny slopes. It may take a few days for the new storm snow to stabilize.
