To the Bowl and the Overfalls (Trout River Pond)

There was a thick layer of ice beneath a few cms of snow on sunny slopes. Walking on it cause me to slip and slide down the hill, I couldn't crack the ice with my body weight. There was a section of the Overfalls with a long crack along the edge where the cornice begins. There are signs of dry avalanches along the way, they must be from the last week. Ice patches from sun and wind were visible everywhere and on the barrens as well.
