Akolkolex crust

Went for a little explore up the Akolkolex. Top 5cm moist or refrozen below 1800m. Above 1800m, well-settled soft snow can be found in the shade, 5cm sun crust found on solar aspects up to 2100m where we topped out. Ridgetop was wind affected but soft and north aspects looked like good skiing! We observed several glide cracks and previous minor loose wet in steep, south facing paths.
