Beautiful day on Mt. Strachan. Dug above Aussie gully looking to check out interface between snow deposited by Northerly outflow winds and last weeks storm snow. CTE6 down 15cm SC, CTM13 down 40cm, but didn't observe any significant cracking or slabs developing.

Well consolidated lower snow pack with poorly bonded wind deposited snow on top of recent storm snow that has stayed dry and low density. Did not see any evidence of buried surface hoar during compression test.
