Avalanche
Avalanche was triggered by skier, crown roughly five meters below skier. I was crossing the top of the slope, which effectively acted as a ski cut. Slide was a fresh storm snow slab sliding on wind slab (windslab visually observed at that location and tested on proximal slopes the previous day). The snow had accumulated the previous afternoon through the night (March 11). Slope was largely open with only a handful of small trees.
