Burn Baby Burn

Some fun skiing and sledding to be had around McBride right now. We found about 15cm of powder over firmer snow made for great skiing in sheltered areas at treeline and below. Higher up was more wind affected from recent southwesterly winds. We had amazing views into the Dore River area and the Rockies but saw no signs of recent avalanches out there. By the end of the day a thin sun crust had formed on the very steepest west facing terrain but mellow southerly aspects were still dry powder and fun to ski.
