Third skier down the S couloir of grizzly triggered a 15cm soft windslab. First two skiers had skied the left side of the chute to avoid shadier punchy snow. Slide took out east facing upper flank of the chute, triggering a 30 cm step down mid chute before spreading out on the apron. Skier was carried about 3 m before arresting on the bed surface.
