Snowing lightly throughout the day at Purple Knob with about 8cm (valley) rising to 10-12cm (treeline) on top of a solid crust. Stiff crust supportive to riders and just barely breakable with a pole handle. New snow was soft and fluffy (or 'low density' as we like to say). Probed HS 105-115cm at 2200m (treeline band).

Snowfall rate was light (<0.5cm/hr). Overcast the entire day without much wind noted (we stayed at treeline and below). -4°C at the car and still -4°C at transition (2250m).
