Found blowing powder in the trees off first knoll. More open slopes were to be wind affected. Cold NE wind was blowing with very strong gusts and snow spouts. Temps -5 to -10 degC. Snow has filled in well even at valley bottom, creek have big holes and we found cavities created by small trees.
