Mt Kidd Avalanche

A group of us were climbing the wedge when we heard a ‘boom’ sound. We turned around and saw the snow coming down Mount Kidd into one of the bowls. We saw three avalanches in total in the same area that afternoon. The snow looked like it stopped in the bowl above the ice climb ‘Kidd Falls’. Later we talked to a man who had solo’d Kidd Falls that morning and he said he had heard the ‘crack’ but no snow came down on him.
