Poor visibility and strong afternoon winds in the alpine with lots of snow transport (far and low). Ski pen varied from 15cm to 30cm on loaded features. The snow changed from soft slab to a cohesive 15cm styrofoamy layer in some areas within an hour and our skin track got completely buried. Wet snow at treeline and below. Top layer is sitting on a crust but was still unreactive, except at lower elevations where small wet loose pockets were easy to break on steeper features. Ski quality was generally OK. Even the wet snow wasn't too bad.
