Took a ride out to Gorman with the idea of trying to get some turns in on the boards and check the coverage out. The day was overcast with little accumulation the day prior, temps were around -2 and feeling sheltered from the ridge top winds. Hs was deeper in the bowl than on the slopes, coverage was mostly good for skiing but I’d watch out when highmarking as there are still plenty of rocks and trees lurking below. We dug a quick pit @ 2160 on a more mellow (33 degrees) south facing aspect just to see how things are shaping up and mostly to see what the SH was looking like. It’s still there! HS - 96 SP - 20 FP - 60 Results - CTH 22 down 58cm on you guessed it SH. As we were getting ready to head down we observed a small point release on a north aspect, most things have been sluffing or have slid.
