Fun day in the Hasler to scratch the itch. Found 80cm snowpack on NE aspect mild slope. Melt freeze crust 35 CM down with facets above, failure on compression test in hard range so it is starting to bond. Small failure 10cm down in soft range where storm snow has not yet bonded to old snow. Dance for more snow!
