Emeral Peak area

Skied near Emmeral peak today (Sunday). While there was a good freeze to the lodge, we dialed back our plans as it was still socked in with the cloud base around 2700m. Seemed to be clearing a bit around 11am when leaving 2 nat 1.5 loose snow and recent 1.5 windslabs.

Moderate winds triggered 2 loose snow 1.5s that we witnessed. other debris from est last 12h. Evidence of windslabs to 1.5 but app wouldn't let me edit avy conditions

While snowfall accumulations were 5-10cm, moderate SW winds were busy. Drifts to 20-30cm were present. Witnessed 2 natural est 1.5 loose dry, possibly windslabs, triggered by wind loading on leeward E-NE aspects. Significant enough that you defitely woudn't have wanted to be underneath or in high consequence terrain
