Paul's Last Day

Some dust on crust ski conditions up the Dore right now but fun skiing nevertheless. We stuck to north facing slopes and skiing above 1500m as it was pretty crusty everywhere else. There was evidence of old loose wet avalanches in the area but nothing recent from the last few days. The cool temperatures and cloudy skies today helped keep the avalanche hazard low as well. We dug a pit up in the alpine on a north facing slope but found no significant layers to worry about.
