Snowpack
Did some hand shears, ski cuts consistently as we we climbed with no signs of instabilities BTL. once at tree line ridge top we did see some shooting cracks in steeper terrain.
Avalanche
Ski cutting top of slope with wide propagation from initiation point. Failure occurred on March 10 weak layer of decomposing frags and facets. attempted to ski cut remaining hang fire with no luck.
