Bright sunny day Ascent to knob revealed no instability on the track. Some wind/solar crust higher up on the skin track. Signs of slides along head wall. Skied north from Pulpit 1 knob. Good skiing but lots of wind debris. No observed instability enroute. Minor wumph within trees on the way to the lake. Lake ice was rotten in places. Open water at creek drainage into lake. Bow was open at end of lake.
