Skied the trees on Mt Field today. Recent snowfall 30cm+. -2° at the car at 10am. Mostly overcast. Skier triggered a size 1 storm slab just at treeline, results of no bounding between the new recent snow and the snowpack. The trees skied amazingly, the snow was deep and powdery. No wind and no wind affect on the east face where we skied but could easily see the ridges and summits around get blown.
