Checked out Seaton Basin and Harold Price zones. 15-20cm of well settled recent snow sits over a firm, temperature-affected upper snowpack. Wind effect could be observed in open areas below treeline and the surface was crusty below 1400m. Looking up into the foggy alpine, the only thing we could make out were large some cornices at ridgetop. Snowpack tests produced a few planar results in the top 40cm but crystal types at these interfaces were non-persistent and the overlying snow lacked cohesive slab property. No signs of instability or recent avalanche activity were observed.
