Amazing conditions on Whymper Sunday w 20+cm of dry powder on supportive crust up high on the mountain and some 10-15cm of new snow closer to the valley. Some sluffing and loose snow sz 1 avalanche observed. Busy day w several groups (15-20 people) but all manageable.
