Snow conditions are highly variable. Powder turns on the glacier, miserable breakable crust between 1650m to 2150m on west and south west aspect, slushy and heavy below 1650m. Two instances of settlement of the snowpack at around 2150m elevation. Overnight refreeze at 1650m. Lots of activity of wet loose avalanches in the afternoon on south and west aspects on Friday. Lots of tree bombs and melting on Friday afternoon.
