Size 2 soft slab avalanche triggered from top of Teddy Bear trees. Several groups at top, our group attempted to up track to ridge top via east facing slope, cracked at convexity just below ridge. 100 m wiDE, ran 150, 60 cm crown with 10 cm step down. 3 skier involvement, 1 partial burial. No injuries other than bruised ego, 2 lost poles. Thanks to other groups for assisting! Lucky day for us and in the end a learning experience.
