Amazing ski quality today in the trees. Mostly sunny with a few clouds. -20c at the start, -6c late morning at 2200m, -10c back at the cars. Only saw evidence of one natural across the valley off Mt Kent. No evidence of instability on the way up or down. Later in the day the winds were whipping a lot of snow off the summits.
Snowpack
CT 25 hard result on facts below Dec 8 crust. 80cm column "cash registered" on 35 degree slope. Above the crust the snowpack is right side up - fist to 4f to 1f with less than 1 degree per 10cm temp gradient. No result on Propegation Test. It would take a big load to activate the facets below the crust, but the result will likely be huge.
