I went and had a look at the debris from the avalanche the AvCan NW field team reported last tuesday in their MIN. Pretty humbling. Very large,wet, deposit - based on measuring elevation, path length, depth of deposit on avg, and volume, I put it in the size 4 area. It completley covered the #7 switchback with @8m of debris, and I suspect the runout zone gully has close to 15-20m in it. Deeply gouged out track and some recent logging. I wouldnt ski the King Louis anytime soon...
