Hiked Mount Jarvis today. Snow conditions are grim for February. Climb was on a South aspect. - Snowline is ~1200m. It is consolidated like spring snow, and very thin - 15-30cm. - Snow becomes deeper at 1350m, supportive rain crust - Freezing line for the storm Saturday appears to have been ~1650m. There as about 5cm of dust on the crust.
