Test Pit, 2100m, 35 deg, NE, Alpine CTM 14 SP down 40cm on facets mixed with decomposing surface hoar on a very thin crust. Layer was observable in the pit wall as Rice Krispie cake that your 90 year old Grandma had forgotten to add the marshmallow, 4 finger snow above.
