Basal facets with a freeze crust from the dry spell in November. On top of the freeze crust was recent wind drifted snow that had not bonded to a bullet proof wind slab.

Avalanche

3 remote triggered E-NE on Shrine ridge. Near to above treeline. First avalache propogated ~150ft around a corner. Trigger location marked in red in photo. Picture with ski was taken from trigger location
