Weather

9am, clear to slightly overcast, 10F, no wind until weather blew in with moderate wind and very light snow around 2:30pm.

Snowpack

24-30 inches of new from 12/13-15 storm cycle on top. Known buried weak layers with basal faceting throughout the zone as has been observed since late October. No pits dug. New snow was incredibly nice and consistent.

Avalanche

Numerous natural avalanches observed ranging R1-2, D1-2, on all aspects on eastern half of compass above treeline on slopes 40+ degrees had run in previous 48 hours.
