Early AM snowfall. Graupel/Rime. ~5cm Moderate wind early. Winds calming and snowfall decreasing on approach. Low clouds settled in valley. Sky OVC. Temp at 10,300 -5C. Snow S-1

Surface snow soft in sheltered areas however generally thin and unsupportive. Lee of ridges on E-NE aspect heavily loaded from recent snow/wind event. Snowdepth at observation site 81cm. Widespread windslab varying in thickness.
