14 to 18 inches new and drifted snow. On top of sun baked crust on open w facing

Avalanche

Numerous whoomps on w facing in california gulch. Saw 3 D2 slides on east facing slopes at 12500' on sultan. E facing windloaded slopes. Only storm and wind drifted snow, did not appear to step down. Observed numerous cracks below road cut crossing idaho path. Small d1 was triggered by a skier in different party as they skied out the road where it crosses idaho. They cut above the road on a small 5 meter slope and triggered a d1 storm slab. Ran 3 meters.
