Light snow for most of the morning, with occasional breaks in the clouds. Winds were 20s gusting 40s at times, with significant wind transport.
Snowpack
I traveled on east to southeast to south aspects near and below treeline. I observed several collapses on southeast and south aspects. On an open slope with a south aspect just east of the Stanley slide path and near treeline, the snowpack was a little over a meter deep. The structure conisted of storm snow from the last several days sitting on top of an older slab that overlays a couple of melt-freeze crusts. This is all sitting on top of basal facets. Facets were sandwiched between these two melt-freeze crusts, and I was able to get propagating ECT result in this layer. See pit profile for more detail. This may have been the layer that yesterday's mitigation results in the Eyebrow initiated in.
