Calm, sunny day with temperatures remaining below freezing to the valley floor.

Snowpack

Ski pen is 20cm on a slightly breakable crust on all but the most northerly facing slopes. West facing slopes have 70cm of snow with two crusts, over 30cm of facets. Northerly-facing aspects have 50cm of facets with 50-70cm of pencil to above the Jan 19 interface without any crusts. Snow was moist on steep, open, west facing aspects below 8800ft in the afternoon.
