Avalanche
At 8:40 am, I saw an avalanche sliding on an East Aspect, Above Tree Line. While the avalanche was sliding it was hard to see how it broke due to so much snow being wind-deposited on the slope while the avalanche was sliding. Once the wind-deposit temporarily broke up, I could make out the flanks of the slide and it appears that the slide broke from a cornice collapse at ridge-line and slid all the way until the slope flattened out.
