Weather
Sky cover was variable, but it was mostly clear and sunny. Mostly calm in the valley bottom with occasional light down-valley winds. Looked pretty windy up high, and there was still a fair bit of transport at the ridge lines.
Avalanche
This was already reported, but here is a photo for context. We observed this from the old cabins. The avalanche on looker's right was triggered by two skiers at around 10:00 while on the skin track (on their 2nd lap up there). Both were caught and carried ~50 feet, and ended up on top of the debris. Hard to tell if they were partially buried at all. They recovered equipment and continued uphill a bit before descending. R1D1 soft slab. About an hour later, a slightly larger avalanche adjacent to the skier triggered one ran naturally.
