Weather

Partly sunny, calm, temps in the 20s, no new recent snow (although strong westerly winds were noted up high overnight, with gusts 40+mph).

Snowpack

Consistently variable snow surface conditions were present (note: wind scour was widely distributed throughout terrain, on all aspects and all elevations). Aside from the wind slab that released on an isolated terrain feature, no other signs of instability, cracking, collapsing or other avalanches were observed.

Avalanche

4-6” wind slab, ~50’x150’ on the convexity of north aspect rollover at ~9600’.
